ELECTRIC ESSENTIAL OIL DIFFUSER

A first in the principle of diffusing Essential Oils through air-flow

A unique patented electrical product that functions through
air-flow
and not through the normal procedure of heat.

  Essential Oil Diffuser

Ideal for use by Professional Health Therapists!

African Engine
Aromatherapy Oil Diffuser

The diffuser has the following features and benefits:
  • Air-flow has the benefit of not leaving any residue and also allows oils to be changed very easily.

  • If using a high quality, unadulterated oil, the oils last much longer than if diffused via heat.

  • 2-Speed Switch (High speed to boost aroma as quickly as possible and Low Speed once that has been achieved.  On Low Speed the diffuser can easily run through the night).

  • To refill the diffuser with the same Essential oil simply remove cap and add some more drops of oil.

  • To refill the unit with a different Essential oil, remove the cap from jar, thoroughly wash and dry the jar, then refill with the different oil.

  • No harm can be caused if the diffuser continues to run after the oil is finished.

  • Oils are gently released into the atmosphere at a controlled rate.

  • It is completely safe to use the African Engine diffuser, as the oil does not come into contact with any heat source, making it safe to use, even in a baby's room.

  •
Voltage is suitable for countries in the UK and Europe

ESSENTIAL OILS

    • By using Essential oils in your diffuser you have a system of natural help which can prevent illness and alleviate symptoms. Essential oils provide your home and workplace with the protection and pleasure they need without polluting ourselves or our environment with chemicals, thus living in harmony with people and planet alike.
    • Essential oils are not a new discovery, there is evidence to show that they were used by the ancient Egyptians.
    • Because the Essential oils are so sweet smelling, it might be easy to suppose that their value is only one of charm. This would be a mistake, as these substances are very powerful in their molecular structure.
    • The following chart lists some of the most common and readily available Essential oils and is by no means a comprehensive list.
    • The chart lists some of the therapeutic values of the oils listed, when used in the diffuser to combat and treat infections.

Clean the jar using normal dishwashing detergents. Ensure the jar is dry before filling with oil.

  • Cap

HERBAL CREAMS AND SOAPS

Picture of Aspalathus Linearis plantThe story of Rooibos is a unique and extremely interesting one - a story that started at the turn of the century in the Cedarberg area of the Cape. It was the locals of the area who first discovered that the fine, needle-like leaves of the "Aspalathus Linearis" plant made a tasty, aromatic tea. It was they who first harvested the wild-growing plants, chopped them with axes and then bruised them with hammers, leaving them to ferment in heaps, before drying them in the sun. Today Rooibos is still processed in much the same way, but of course the methods are more mechanised and refined.

The Plant - "Aspalathus Linearis"

The Aspalathus plant group, which falls under the legume family, and to which Rooibos belongs, consists of more than 200 species which occur only in South Africa and of which only the specie Aspalathus Linearis has any economic value. Had it not been for the mountain inhabitants in the Western Cape, this specie would today have been known merely as an ordinary shrub-like bush of the mountains.

Rooibos plantationThe plant is a shrub-like bush with a central smooth bark main stem which, near the soil surface, is already subdivided into various equally strong off-shoots followed by thin, flimsy side branches bearing the thin, sharp, soft, needlelike leaves of approximately ten millimetres in length, singly or in bunches. The growth height varies from one to 1,5 metre in its natural state while the height of harvested plants varies from 0,5 to 1,5 metre depending on the age or the climate and soil conditions in the area of production.

Health Benefits of Rooibos

  • anti-spasmodic properties
  • it is excellent for colic babies and diaper rash
has a healing effect for certain skin ailments such as eczema and acne
  • the anti-oxidants reduce the negative damaging effects of free-radicals in your body
  • relieves insomnia, stomach cramps and constipation
  • promotes healthy skin

Although bulbinella is not really a herb as such, it does make out part of the herbal arsenal in treating excema, cuts and burns, as well as sunburn, blisters, insect bites, acne, cracked skin as well as rashes and grazes. The bulbinella plant is a type of succulent and has been used for ages by the local African people to help heal skin problems.

Indigenous to Africa, there are many varieties of Bulbinella, but all have the remarkable ability of soothing and healing:

skin rashes, burns, grazes, insect bites, heat rashes, spotty skin, acne and eczema's

The most commonly grown variety, Bulbinella Frutescens can be crushed, and the soothing gel - which is similar to Aloe Vera gel, can be applied frequently to the area affected to soothe it.
