The Kruger National Park

The vast area of the Kruger National Park, stretching 350 km from north to south, at most 60km in width and covering an area of 1,948,528 hectares is home to great numbers and varieties of amphibians, reptiles, birds and 147 mammal species, including the Big Five. The sight of elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo is always a thrill, especially at close range on a conducted wilderness trail. But many visitors get as big a kick out of spotting a kudu, a warthog or one of the eagle species.  Kruger is one of the most famous parks in the world and the oldest one in Africa.  It is a part of our world that belongs to the animals and where we, as humans, take second place.  A vibrant, living example of fauna, flora and the elements working together in harmony. It is a place where time stands still and where all that visit come away refreshed and with a feeling of awe in the face of the greatness of Creation.

In her paintings, the artist captures in Oils, the magnificence of the animals in their natural habitat, safe from the encroachment of humans.
